Matthew Hollow Photography specializes in the photography of works of art and antiques.  Offering a specialist service to artists, art dealers, public and privately owned galleries, antique dealers, auction houses, picture restorers and fine art printers and publishers.

Matthew has worked extensively with contemporary works of art as well as historical works. This area spans most types of art from modern installations to Old Master paintings, with furniture, antiquities, jewellery, sculpture, gallery interiors and ceramics in between.

Matthew has carried out commissions at many of the U.K’s historical homes on behalf of private families and institutions including the National Trust and English Heritage. Some notable clients have been the Duchess of York, and many well-known artists such as Lucian Freud, Francis Bacon, Sean Scully, Stephen Goddard, Maurice Cockrill, Frank Auerbach, David Bowie and Holly Johnson.

Being based on London’s Regent Street near to both Sotheby’s and Christies and with studio facilities means we are both central and convenient.  Commissions however can be carried out anywhere in the U.K. or abroad. Matthew is an Associate of the British Institute of Professional Photography.
